Psychotherapy can be different things for different people. For some it can offer emotional support during a time of stress or a difficult period in life, such as the end of a relationship or a bereavement.
For other people it can be an opportunity to explore the past and how this has impacted them and their present. Others may want to explore feelings and processes they experience, but don't understand or would like to change.

I work with adults with a range of experiences, including:
You don’t need to have a clear “problem” for therapy to be beneficial — curiosity about yourself and your patterns is enough.
Sessions are a confidential, non-judgemental space where we explore your experiences together.
We may look at your current challenges, past experiences, and the ways you relate to others and to yourself.
My role is not to give advice, but to help you develop insight, emotional understanding, and new choices — supporting you to move towards a more fulfilling way of living.
Starting therapy can feel daunting, especially if you’re unsure what to expect.
I welcome initial enquiries and am happy to answer questions or arrange an initial session so we can explore whether working together feels right for you.
I offer one to one therapy online and in person.
I also offer walk and talk therapy where we meet outside in nature. This can be in a park, in the countryside or on the beach for example.
We can also agree to combine these options.
I offer short term therapy as well as long term open ended arrangements.
Sessions last 50 minutes and we will normally meet once a week.
In the first instance we will arrange a 30 minute video call to talk about what you are looking for and decide whether we would like to work together.
This is free of charge.
I operate a sliding scale of charges according to what you can afford.
Please get in touch regarding fees and I will invite you to choose a payment level that is appropriate for you.
